Sarnia Lambton Rebound is a non-profit voluntary agency, committed to youth between the ages of 8 and 24.  We promote changed attitudes and behaviours helping young people develop skills that nurture a positive response to self, family and community. We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and passionate person to join our team.  This position will be responsible for:

·        Creating and maintaining a clean and welcoming environmentfor youth

·        Assessing and responding to immediate needs, providingsupports and making referrals as required

·        Facilitating group programs and individual support for youth

·        Believing in the potential of all youth

·        Advocating for issues and/or resources related to youth

·        Maintaining, researching and updating relevant, evidenceinformed program materials

·        Working collaboratively with agency volunteers, monitoringand mentoring their skill development

·        Contributing to team meetings and the ongoing evolution ofthe organization

·        Empowering and supporting the organization’s youth engagement philosophy

• Post- Secondary degree/diploma in a Child/youth related field

• Passion, commitment and dedication to youth

• Creative and resourceful

• Knowledge and experience with Youth Engagement and Transitional Aged Youth

• Independent and team work skills and abilities

• Life Skills training and experience

• Excellent time management, written and verbal skills, superior documentation and data entry skills

• Previous volunteer experience an asset

• Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

• Must be a member of your professional association

• Must provide own transportation and have valid Class G License
